The local, multi-generational group strengthens its commitment to nurturing Indonesian talent and protecting Bali’s heritage while expanding into gastronomy, regenerative agriculture, and destination development.
Tabanan, Bali – 26 November 2025 – Nyanyi Bali, a quietly influential, multi-generational Balinese-Indonesian group, rooted in Education, Community, and Culture, today announced a renewed vision and the official adoption of “A Legacy of Stewardship” as its core theme for 2026. The group, whose portfolio spans education, gastronomy, and sustainable development, is deepening its commitment to nurturing Indonesian talent and safeguarding Bali’s cultural and natural heritage for the next generation.
Rooted in Tabanan and entirely local-owned, Nyanyi Bali has spent more than three decades shaping Bali’s educational and cultural landscape through the Bali International Training and Development Centre (BITDeC), Bali Culinary Pastry School (BCPS), Politeknik Internasional Bali (PIB College), and now its newest gastronomic chapter, Kōro Bali and its community development, NResidence.
A locally Rooted Family with a Vision to Build the Next Generation
Nyanyi Bali traces its origins to the late Dr. Ir. Frans Bambang Siswanto, M.M. and Prof. Dr. Ir. Anastasia Sulistyawati, B.A.E., M.S., M.M., M.Mis., D.Th., Ph.D., D.Ag., who established what would become BITDeC in 2006. The founding intention was simple yet ambitious: to uplift Indonesian youth, particularly Balinese talent, through accessible, world-class education rooted in cultural wisdom.
This legacy continues today under the second generation. “Our parents taught us that a meaningful legacy is built through care, care for people, care for culture, and care for the land,” said Made Ariani Siswanto, Managing Director of Nyanyi Bali. “Everything we do today is a continuation of that intention.”
In 2026, this intention will be fully expressed through the group’s unified theme, “A Legacy of Stewardship”. This value serves as the foundation for all programs, activities and communities within Nyanyi Bali, including BITDeC, BCPS, PIB College, Kōro Bali, N Residence and all upcoming developments.
35 Years in the Making: From the First Generation’s Seed to the Second Generation’s Stewardship
BITDeC is the core of Nyanyi Bali’s ecosystem. BITDeC and its institutions have grown into one of Indonesia’s most respected skills-based education hubs, especially in culinary, hospitality, tourism, and professional training.
Bali Culinary Pastry School (BCPS) began in 2016 with just six students and now supports 138 active students and over 1,000 graduates, many coming across Indonesia. BCPS reinforces the group’s commitment to education that is grounded in technical mastery and professional attitude. PIB College, Nyanyi Bali’s higher education institution, offers six accredited programmes, equipping students with industry-relevant skills, global literacy, and real-world exposure. Together, BCPS and PIB College have facilitated numerous local and overseas internships and created hundreds of pathways for Indonesian youth to enter the global workforce.
“Education has always been the core of our work. Our focus is to equip the younger generations with skills, confidence, and global exposure while respecting cultural values. We believe that when opportunities are opened widely, they will excel,” said Made Ariani Siswanto.
Kōro Bali: An Immersive Experience and Gastronomic Journey
On 21 November 2025, Nyanyi Bali marked the soft opening of Kōro Bali, its newest gastronomic destination. Set within a one-hectare beachfront garden overlooking Nyanyi Beach, Kōro Bali is both an elevated culinary experience inspired by the philosophy of Koku, and an immersive experience where BCPS students gain real-world hospitality and culinary training. Emerging chefs and hospitality students learn through hands-on experience, from kitchen operations to guest interaction, giving them professional readiness before entering the industry.
“Kōro was created with the purpose of becoming a living classroom, allowing students to sharpen their skills through hands-on practice as part of the Nyanyi Bali ecosystem. Through Kōro, we also hope to bring the community together through gastronomy,” said Nyoman Astari Siswanto, Director of Nyanyi Bali.
Community: Nyanyi’s Direction Forward
Nyanyi Bali’s growth is shaped by the people who live, work, and build their lives in the area. Every development is designed to reinforce belonging, cultural continuity, and long-term care for the land. N Residence strengthens this direction by creating a community-centred environment where individuals, families, and future generations can grow together.
Together, these developments reinforce Nyanyi Bali’s commitment to building communities designed for people today and for generations to come.
Shaping the Future by Acting Today
While conversations about Bali often focus on rapid development, Nyanyi Bali is charting a deliberate path, one defined by intention, community, and long-term care. Its work grows from a belief that a place should evolve at a pace aligned with its cultural and ecological rhythms.
As the group enters 2026 under “A Legacy of Stewardship”, its mission remains unchanged: to cultivate a sustainable future for Bali by nurturing people and honouring the land.
